Residential Life Contracting Process

The Resident Life Contract is for the entire academic year; one bedroom unit contracts are 12-months. The contract is for residence in the University Apartments, not for a particular building, room, or roommate. The contract is accessible through MyMercer under the Housing and Residence Life Heading. Once you have submitted the contract, you are bound to the terms of the contract (see Residence Life Contract Terms and Conditions and the Contract Cancellation policy).

You can access the Contracts through your MyMercer page.

  • Log in to MyMercer
  • Go to Atlanta Housing
  • Click on the appropriate campus
  • Scroll to current year Contract
    • Please read and follow all instructions carefully!

You can also check your assignment and roommate information through MyMercer.

Roommates

Students are strongly encouraged to select their own roommates; housing does not facility this process.  Students’ names and e-mail addresses are available when you are selecting your space. You must complete a roommate pin if you wish to secure an apartment for both you and your roommate.  Additionally, the "pinned" roommate must complete a "Pinned Roommate" contract within 48 hours.

Students are strongly encouraged to select their own roommates.  To reserve a space for your potential roommate(s), before contracting you must complete a Roommate Pin (which will allow you to select a space for your roommate).  The "pinned" roommate must complete a "Pinned Roommate" contract within 48 hours of being selected.  You can also check your assignment and roommate information through MyMercer.
